New CGC & Rally Obedience Dog! - March 2008

Rocco passed his CGC test with flying colors and moved onto Rally Obedience where he earned his Rally Novice title with ease.

New AKC CH ! - February 2008

Lexi's daughter, Harei Selah Keisha of Sundowner, "Keisha" has added AKC Championship to her long list of conformation and performance titles. Look for Keisha and her owner Cathey making more headlines later this year!

A New Canine Good Citizen! - September 2007

Jasmine's eight-month old son, Phim, earned his CGC Certification with the encouragement of his owner/trainer 14 year old Brandon. We are very proud of the team's dynamic success and hope to see more from these future stars.

Go Girl Power! - July 2007

We certainly took our time about it, but finally got around to testing Jasmine for her CGC (Canine Good Citizen). Congratuations to Jazzie for earning her GCG, and two Therapy Dog certifications under TDI and Delta Society---all in the same week!

We are also beaming to announce that our Kenzie (Midsummer Mackenzie) earned Best in Show Puppy during the ICDCA (Israel Canaan Dog Club of America) National weekend. Kenzie certainly made her first entrance into the show ring a memorable one.

Lexi's daughter, Keisha (Harei Selah Keisha of Sundowner), also earned her Therapy Dog certification this month, along with her National Title under Alle Rasse Group's known as IABCA.

Not to be outdone by the girls, our strapping young lad, Rocco, took Best Male at the ICDCA National Specialty held in Roseville Minnesota.

Show Win! - May 2007

Rocco took Winners Dog and Keisha Winners Bitch on two of the three All Breed shows the weekend of May 5/6th in Jefferson Wisconsin. Each one took a turn as Best of Winners, both earning their second majors. Congratulations to all the other weekend show placers!

Show Bang! - October 2006

Rocco and Lexi finished out the show year with a bang.  Both earned an invitation to the AKC Eukanuba Invitational, an honor only bestowed upon the top 25 dogs in the breed for the year.  With limited showing, Lexi ranked 8th among Canaan Dog females, and Rocco, at only 9 months of age, finished the year ranked as 8th top winning Canaan Dog male of 2006!”
